Each year, we hold elections for our chapter officers and these are the procedures that are followed:
- Nominations are due to the current secretary by the end of the 3rd week of November
- Verification occurs with the nominees to see if they accept
- Voting Ballots (often online) are due by the end of the 4th week of November
The officer terms run from January to December so that incoming officers have time to collaborate with the previous officers and ask them questions before they graduate. Because of this, there are no experience requirements to run! Anyone with an interest in running can nominate themselves, or you could even nominate a friend who you think would be great for the role. All positions are voted on every year as well, and each chapter has all of the positions listed below. This means there are lots of opportunities to get involved, and we look forward to hearing from you all!
